Being in my guest room, at one time one of my buddies spent the night as he was impaired and he managed to knock one 1 of these lights off of the beds built in night tables. This disbar is activated by pressing down on one side or the other of the switch.

So it was only appropriate that these two 2 bedrooms had similar accents lighting. It was like having a huge apartment with weekly visits by the landlord. These lights were purchased at the same time making them mirror images of each other.

The top section and the arm vary in color and the ones being offered here are, once again, red. This does not effect it's working ability, but, does give you a slight hard time, on occasion, when you go to adjust the arm inwards like closing it.

If your at all familiar with lead, you know it's a soft metal, so use caution and tiny turns, if you ever have to make any adjustment to the tension of the arm. In the late 1970's Porsche Design modified these lamps to include a newly developed disbar switch.

Simply type in Porsche lighter and on search let's say like in a bedroom as we did, you would have no issues as when you flip the wall switch, these lamps will light up as you left them on. I did manage to capture this in my last picture and you can only see this slight imperfection from the underside and when your looking for it. This is really minor and more like it sticks, but will always close with applying a little more pressure then it's counterpart.

Funny when I graduated college back in 1981, she insisted that these lights remain in the house. Funny how you remember certain things.

At that time, I was attending college and was living at home with my parents. 2 up and 2 down.

This has no effect on anything and once again, is only too common with these lamps due to all of the tension and stress applied. Both tension screws work as Designed, and here's a good word of caution advice, these tension screws get set into a base of a lead alloy.

This switch will stay in the position that you leave it in. The lamps used in this movie was the gray colored lamps which I have listed unless they sold off.

Who had a great house with 2 full kitchens and a 4 car garage. They pull directly out, but have three 3 sections, if you want any particular measurement or measurements, contact me and i'll measure the one in my office. Well, that was my reasoning at the time.

This red pair was used in the guest room downstairs, next to my bedroom. These lamps were made famous in one of the star trek movies as they used these jazz lamps in one of the scenes as these appeared in great quantity on a conference room table. Well not all of it is that is.

Neither one of these lamps have this issue yet, but in time they will as they all end up with these tiny stress cracks around the tension set screws.

These lamps work well with a wall switched power outlet. Here I am offering up a pair of my vintage Porsche Design red table top desk lamps lights which are known as the jazz model lights which are made by Luce based out of Milan, Italy.

Until you release it. I think you get the joist of this now these lamps are telescopic by Design. A very common side effect of this tension is stress cracks around these set screws.
